As a food reviewer, I had the pleasure of sampling some of their signature dishes. The Sirloin French Dip was a standout, with House Roasted Top Sirloin, Horseradish Aioli, Provolone, and Pan Dripping Au Jus on a Toasted French Roll. The flavors melded together beautifully, creating a sandwich that was truly unforgettable.
But the culinary delights didn't stop there. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Nuoc Cham & Ginger Dill Yogurt were a revelation - tender orbs with a crispy exterior and a delightful nutty taste. And let's not forget about the 48 Hour Slow-Cooked Short Rib, served with Grilled Baby Carrots, Whipped Potatoes, Crispy Pickled Onions, and 3 Peppercorn Hoisin Demi-Glace. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me wanting more.

I was blown away by this place! It's an absolute gem. The vibe is super casual, which I love. The guy at the counter was nice and personable, it was our first time dining there and he gave us a rundown of the menu and recommended the short ribs as it was their specialty. The menu options are fairly priced, I paid $23 for the short ribs plate and it was a good portion of food so I went home with leftovers that were just as tasty heated up later! Delicious food and friendly staff! Looking forward to coming back to try more from their menu.

I love this place. The burger is perfect. The short ribs are wonderful, too. I always get the Brussel sprouts, regardless of entree'. Yes, even with the burger.

Small restaurant with limited indoor and outdoor seating. I really liked my prime rib sandwich, it was very tasty. Mac and cheese was just ok. Sweet potato corn fritter was pretty good especially with the garlic aioli sauce. The brussel sprouts were amazing. They had the best burnt texture and flavor. I think it was about $18 pre tax and too. Overall yummy!

Highly recommended! Try the ribs or salmon. Can't go wrong. I had the chicken today, which was good, but a bit dry. Couscous as a side was phenomenal! There's a great shaded patio for outdoor dining. Inside is nice with AC, but a bit small. The soda is all crafted, no name brands. The black tea is wonderful!

Started with the salmon croquettes and fried brussel sprouts. The croquettes were light and flavorful, and the brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and nicely crispy. My meal was the fried chicken, which came with sauteed greens and polenta. The coating on chicken was light and crisp, and the chicken was juicy. My wife's sirloin French dip was tender and filled with meat. The bun was nicely toasted and tasty. The accompanying parmesan fries were on the soggy side, but still had enough of a flavor punch.

Came here for a late lunch and was craving a burger- service was fast and friendly and the burger was delicious and not too much- hard to find these days! Simple and satisfying, kiddo had Mac n' cheese and we both enjoyed the natural Colorado sodas!

I ordered takeout tonight: chicken pastrami sandwich. It was delicious!! I loved the aoli which had a bit of heat (my kind of sandwich). I've been to the Chop Shop on Colfax half a dozen times and I'm so glad to know this location is just as good!

We came in for our first visit. Plenty of parking upon arrival. The man working the register was thoughtful and friendly. The prices with the tip were higher than average. 30 plus per person average. We ordered a prime rib and salmon specials. The food was good. The ambiance was nice. A bit loud with the music and echoing sounds. They had a neat mural on the wall. You fill up your own drink from a fountain. The food seemed fresh and of quality content. The prime rib should be served with a steak knife. It's strange to me that an employee working the cash register would get a 15 to 20 percent tip, when they do not do the same job as a server in a restaurant. I guess I'm old school in that way. Although, I'm guessing that tip is shared with the entire staff on duty.

We ate at Chop Shop, Casual Urban Eatery on South Broadway for lunch over the weekend. Chop Shop is one of Denver's premier chef driven fast casual/quick serve restaurants and has three locations - South Broadway, East Colfax and Quebec St. We arrived at Chop Shop South Broadway, ordered our food and sat at a booth in the main dining room. The aesthetic of the restaurant was lively & fun with a vibrant Chop Shop mural on the wall & a huge patio. Clint Wangsnes, Owner and Executive Chef at Chop Shop gave us stellar recommendations and ensured our meal ran smoothly. Manager Alisson assisted Clint & both were active on the restaurant floor throughout our visit. I started off the meal with a Lemon Berry Froze. This vodka cocktail was tart on the tongue with the cooling taste of citrusy lemon & sweet berries. For Specialties we had the Sirloin French Dip, 48 Hour Slow-Cooked Short Rib, & the Grilled Achiote Salmon Filet. The Sirloin French Dip was made with House Roasted Top Sirloin, Horseradish Aioli, Provolone, Pan Dripping Au Jus, & a Toasted French Roll. This is a new sandwich on the Chop Shop Menu. OH MY GOSH. Even just thinking of this Sirloin French Dip has my mouthwatering - it was phenomenal. The French Dip was stacked with all the best elements of a sandwich: thick slices of succulent top sirloin, melty provolone cheese & flavor packed au jus. The crusty French roll absorbed the savory au jus with each dip making for the juiciest bites. The creamy horseradish aioli added a subtle spice to the sandwich. A must order! For a side we had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts made with Nuoc Cham & Ginger Dill Yogurt. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts were fabulous - they were tender little orbs with crisp exteriors and a mildly sweet, nutty taste. Their lightly crunchy exteriors complemented the creamy dill yogurt that topped them. The 48 Hour Slow-Cooked Short Rib was made with Grilled Baby Carrots, Whipped Potatoes, Crispy Pickled Onions, & 3 Peppercorn Hoisin Demi-Glace. The Short Rib made for fork-tender, beefy bites. The short rib had a deep, meaty flavor and was served over fluffy whipped potatoes. The potatoes had a velvety mouthfeel against the chew of the meat. The fried pickled onions added nice crunch while the grilled carrots added a delicate snap. The Grilled Achiote Salmon Filet was made with Teriyaki Glaze, Sautéed Mixed Vegetables, Steamed Jasmine Rice, & Furikake. The sweet salmon flaked easily and had a warm, tangy Teriyaki flavor. The mixed vegetables were fresh and added bright color to this specialty dish. The Southwestern Chop Salad was made with Mixed Greens, Tomato, Roasted Corn, Black Beans, Green Onion, Cilantro, Crispy Tortilla, Shredded Cheese, & Chipotle Buttermilk Vinaigrette. This was a fresh and flavorful salad tossed in a deliciously, creamy Chipotle Buttermilk Vinaigrette that was made in-house.
